On Saturday, November 22, 2025, young men in grades 6-12 are invited to experience a transformative day of mentorship, inspiration, and leadership development at the Ebony Tie Affair Youth Symposium.

The 2025 Youth Symposium embodies our commitment to reaching back and lifting up the next generation. As we celebrate legacy at our annual Ebony Tie Affair, we recognize that true legacy is built by investing in young leaders today.

What to Expect

This dynamic full-day experience includes:

Keynote Address by Mr. Wali W. Rushdan II, Esq., Real Estate Attorney & Member of the State Board of Education
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day
Interactive breakout sessions led by successful African American professionals
Networking opportunities with mentors and peers
Prize giveaways and recognition
Complimentary round-trip transportation from select locations

Dress Code: Business Attire with Sneakers Welcome!

We want our young men to dress professionally while maintaining comfort for this all-day symposium. Required attire includes:

Shirt and tie OR suit with shirt and tie
Sneakers are encouraged and welcome
Not permitted: Jeans, dress shoes (sneakers preferred), Timberlands

This dress code teaches young men the importance of professional presentation while acknowledging their age-appropriate style and comfort needs.
